Health Benefits of the Ingredients:
- Garlic: Has immune-stimulating properties, supports liver function and the elimination of metabolic waste. It also has cholesterol-lowering, lipid-lowering, antiplatelet, antihypertensive, and blood glucose–lowering effects that support cardiovascular health.
- Sea bass: Provides zinc and selenium, which support immune system function by counteracting prostaglandin formation that can impair cellular activity. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which inhibit platelet aggregation (a cardiovascular risk factor). Beneficial for liver function due to its content of zinc, selenium, and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Essential fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6 also have antidepressant effects and help maintain nervous system efficiency and memory.
- Extra virgin olive oil: A source of vitamin E, which protects the immune system from harmful fatty acids.
- Oregano: Provides antioxidants and vitamin E that support proper immune system function.
- Tomato purée: Rich in vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that combats free radicals and supports immune health. It also provides minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants that protect the cardiovascular system and is suitable for individuals with kidney disease. Beneficial for liver function due to its vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant content. When consumed with the skin, tomatoes provide folic acid linked to serotonin production, supporting good mood and helping counter depression.
