Notes
To be prepared and handled under strict hygienic conditions.
“Milk” is a very common term but by law it can only be used for the mammary secretion of animals. In fact, in 2017 the Court of Justice of the European Union prohibited the use of the term “milk” for plant products.
It is therefore correct to speak of a drink
The ingredients of the dish bring the following benefits:
Corn flour: provides zinc, an element favorable to the proper functioning of the immune system; also suitable for nephropathic patients
Basil: rich in carotenoids, substances that support the immune system and provide mineral salts, vitamins and antioxidants that act to protect the cardiovascular system; also suitable for nephropathic patients. Useful for the functioning of the liver for the supply of vitamins, mineral salts and antioxidants. It provides folic acid linked to the production of serotonin and therefore favorable to good mood and counteract depression
Protein-free drink
Butter: source of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K) favorable to the health of the eyes, mucous membranes, bones, immune system and blood clotting.
Carrots: rich in vitamins (B1, B2, C, PP, E, D), carotenoids, minerals and active ingredients that support the functionality of the immune system and ophthalmic, diuretic and healing functions and act to protect the cardiovascular system. Also suitable for nephropathic patients and useful for the functioning of the liver for the contribution of vitamins, mineral salts and antioxidants. They provide folic acid linked to the production of serotonin and therefore favorable to good mood and counteract depression
Chickpeas: bearer of factors that promote the functionality of the immune system and regulate blood sugar and due to the content of mineral salts, vitamins and antioxidants, it acts to protect the cardiovascular system; also suitable for nephropathic patients and useful for the functioning of the liver for the contribution of vitamins, mineral salts and antioxidants.
Onion: it is rich in selenium which supports the immune system and with the ability to stabilize blood glucose at normal values; it provides quercetin, a flavonoid that helps contain cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, parameters related to cardiovascular risk, which also supports liver function by promoting the purification of the body. Also indicated for nephropathic patients, it is a good diuretic that prevents kidney stones. Especially if consumed with the peel, it provides folic acid linked to the production of serotonin and therefore favorable to good mood and counteract depression
Mushrooms: source of proteins with a high biological value and linoleic acid, an essential fat precursor of molecules involved in the regulation of inflammation, immunity, blood pressure and platelet aggregation.
Protein-free milk: contains a protein residue of no more than 1%, favourable to kidney function and liver dysfunction.
Rice “milk”: provides zinc, an element favorable to the proper functioning of the immune system; also suitable for nephropathic patients:
Nutmeg: source of vitamin A, carotenoids and manganese with antioxidant properties favorable to the proper functioning of the immune system
Extra virgin olive oil: source of Vitamin E that protects the immune system from harmful fatty acids
Pepper: contains piperine, a powerful antioxidant; improves insulin sensitivity by reducing cholesterol levels and activating metabolism. Recommended for people with cardiovascular problems.
Tomato: rich in vitamin C, the antioxidant par excellence that fights free radicals and supports the immune system, and provides mineral salts, vitamins and antioxidants that act to protect the cardiovascular system; also suitable for nephropathic patients. Useful for the functioning of the liver for the supply of vitamins, mineral salts and antioxidants. Especially if consumed with the peel, it provides folic acid linked to the production of serotonin and therefore favorable to good mood and counteract depression
Eggs: source of Vitamin E which protects the immune system from harmful fatty acids. Rich in Vitamin D that fights mood disorders
Zucchini: provides flavonoids (Vit. P), antioxidants that enhance the action of Vit. C in favor of the immune system and mineral salts, vitamins and antioxidants that act to protect the cardiovascular system; also suitable for nephropathics; useful for the functioning of the liver for the supply of vitamins, mineral salts and antioxidants. They provide folic acid linked to the production of serotonin and therefore favorable to good mood and counteract depression
