Nutritional and Functional Benefits:
Oat beverage: supports immune system function and glycemic regulation; beneficial for liver function due to vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Almond beverage: source of Vitamin E, which protects the immune system from harmful fatty acids; provides minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants that support cardiovascular health; suitable for individuals with kidney disease; beneficial for liver function.
Soy beverage: provides isoflavones (phytoestrogens) that support cardiovascular function, help reduce cholesterol levels, and supply potassium useful for blood pressure regulation.
Cocoa: a powerful antioxidant rich in purine alkaloids (theobromine, caffeine, adenine), tannins, flavonoids, polyphenols, proteins, starches, sugars, and B-group vitamins; supports basal metabolism and cardiovascular health by lowering blood pressure and improving coronary blood flow; contains phenylethylamine, which may reduce cortisol (stress hormone) production.
Dark chocolate (≥70% cocoa): supports immune system function, particularly by stimulating T-lymphocyte production; rich in serotonin, endorphins, and diphenylhydantoin-like compounds with antidepressant, mood-supporting, and analgesic effects.
Flour: provides B vitamins (thiamine, niacin, riboflavin, folates) essential for energy metabolism and nervous system function.
Sugar: when consumed in moderation and without contraindications (e.g., diabetes, obesity), is a primary energy source for the body, improves cognitive performance, and has a positive effect on mood.
