Ingredients
Serves 4
Method
Wash the peaches, cut them in half and remove the pit.
Arrange them with the cut side up in a non-stick pan large enough to contain them all.
Pour a cup of water, a tablespoon of brown sugar and 40 ml of Marsala and cook everything over low heat and with a lid for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, crumble the biscuits with your hands, leaving a few pieces a little larger.
Add the chopped hazelnuts and shredded coconut,
Wet with the remaining Marsala until the mixture is a little moist but not watered down.
Remove the peaches from the heat for a moment and fill them with the filling with the help of a spoon.
Put back on the heat and cook another 5-10 minutes depending on the degree of softness in which you prefer the peaches.
For the last minutes of cooking, remove the lid in order to reduce the sauce a little.
Serve the peaches hot or cold seasoned with a spoonful of the cooking liquid.
